Architecturally it's 2019 to 2024 modern farmhouse and transitional, custom and semi custom traditional, and walk out ranch product on the graded fairway lots.
Walk out lower levels, and glass that runs over two levels rather than up a foyer
Walk out ranch plans at 2,100 to 3,000 square feet run roughly 18 to 30 openings with a large share of them on the glazed lower level, which is the detail that makes this community's schedules unlike anywhere else in Westfield. Two story plans at 3,500 to 5,000 run roughly 30 to 45. The counted story mix says the single story walk out is the more common case, so a Wood Wind quote is more often about a lower level wall of glass than about a two story foyer.
The vocabulary is entirely current generation. Black frames with a grid detail across the upper glass, oversized rear sliders and stacking doors with fixed transoms above, two story stair glass on the two story plans, and full height rear walls running over two levels on the walk outs. Arched and palladian shapes are absent. Casing is brand new square set drywall with no jamb, so outside mount or a pocketed head detail should be assumed, and at one to six years old everything is square.

Wood Wind sits in west Westfield off 161st Street around the golf course, close enough to the Monon Trail corridor to the east that residents use both. It's a small community rather than a large plat network, so it reads as a handful of streets rather than as a subdivision with a road system. The street names come from golf figures and course features, Chick Evans, Royal Tee, Crested Fairway, Whispering Links, Northwind, Brigham and Kohut, which is unlike the town and plant names used across the rest of Westfield.
